What a fantastic adventure! The new Vermeer on NPO 1!
Last Sunday evening was the first episode of De Nieuwe Vermeer where I was able to support professional painter Nard Kwast in a bit of Storytelling of the painting and photography.
We brainstormed together with great pleasure and passion about the use of perspective and lighting by Master Vermeer, a little bit of Camera Obscura and so we were ultimately able to make important preparations for the shoot for the best and realistic possible result. And how cool is it that this work also won?
I am very proud of this project and it was great fun to delve into perspective and how a grand master from the 17th century deals with it. Nard, thank you and hopefully many more inspiring projects to come!
